
Jennifer Lopez Wins Latin Artist of the Year Award

Two weeks after winning a Glamour Woman of the Year Award, Jennifer Lopez is at it again. Last night she took home the award for Best Latin Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards and dethroned former winner, Enrique Eglesias who won the accolade five consecutive years.
As J. Lo approached the podium to accept her award, Enrique gave her a big hug and a kiss. As her voice cracked, she explained, "I didn't expect to win. It's been an amazing year...up and down and just exciting and overwhelming and so many things." According to Fox News Latino, the American Idol judge thanked her "family and babies" for inspiring her and making her "a better person." She also thanked her manager Benny Medina and called him a "creative partner." She also thanked her Latino fans: "Mi gente latina! Por todo...I love you gracias.
