Jennifer Lopez has been fighting tooth and nail to keep her private life with ex-husband Ojani Noa from the public eye, and today a judge's ruling will go a long way to help her cause: An L.A. Superior Court judge is keeping a ban in place against Ojani, saying he and his manager Ed Meyer can't release private home videos featuring J. Lo, the Associated Press reports.
Judge James C. Chalfant said he will issue a preliminary injunction against the two trying to distribute the videos, while Jennifer sued the twosome last month for $10 million, claiming Ojani was in breach of the terms of their divorce and a confidentiality agreement. Her attorney says the movies do not contain sexual situations.
The judge initially handed down a temporary restraining order. Today's injunction will remain in effect until the suit is resolved.
Jennifer and Ojani married in 1997, but stayed together for only 11 months afterwards.
