With six movies in the works, Jennifer Aniston isn't exactly hard up for work. But one actor welcomes the chance to act with her: ex-boyfriend Tate Donovan.
Currently starring in the controversial FX legal series Damages alongside Glenn Close, he tells OK!, "Jen would be fantastic!" And he'd know: Tate played Jennifer's love interest, the bashful Joshua for her Rachel Green, in the fourth season of Friends.
"I'll have her people contact the show's people. It will happen! It'd be great," he told OK! at a Damages event in Los Angeles.
Tate, 44, and Jennifer, who's currently filming Marley and Me with Owen Wilson in Miami, go way back. The pair dated and lived together for three years, breaking up in 1998 when Jen met Brad Pitt. Now, after three years of marriage to Corinne Kingsbury, Tate is back on the market.

"I'm getting a divorce," the actor tells OK!. Meanwhile, with Jennifer 39, alone since her 2006 split from Vince Vaughn, could the pair do more than reconnect offscreen?
The chances of a romantic reconciliation are slim. "She likes top-notch hotels and luxury, and I like bed-and-breakfasts and riding my bike," Tate has said of their incompatibility. "That's the most shallow version of it, but it's indicative of our personalities."
