NEWS'Jersey Shore' Shock: J-WOWW and Snooki Not Italian

After being condemned by Italian-American associations, politicians and celebrities, Jersey Shore stunner Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley has some news for the show's haters and fans alike — she's not even Italian, and neither is Snooki.
"Nicole isn't and castmate Ronnie Magro is not full Italian either," Jenni, who claimed to be a mix of Spanish and Irish, told Fox News' The Strategy Room.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi — who regularly describes herself as a guidette — is in fact Chilean, Jenni said.
Italian-American groups, citing the frequent use of phrases such as "guido" and "guidette," have called for a boycott on the smash hit MTV show, which caused sponsors such as Domino's and Dell to drop their ads.

Still, the controversial reality hit continues attracting viewers, as its season finale brought 4.8 million viewers to MTV, more than three times the ratings of its season premiere.
