NEWS'Jersey Shore' Star Vinny Guadagnino: The Newest 'Breaking Bad' Cast Member?

If Vinny Guadagnino had his way, he would be joining the Breaking Bad cast!
On Monday night, the Jersey Shore star headed over to Cielo in New York City for OK! Magazine’s 4th Annual Fashion Week celebration. On his arm was the lovely Melanie Iglesias, Vinny’s Guy Code co-star and new girlfriend. But before heading inside to mingle with Real Housewives Melissa Gorga, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Gretchen Rossi, Vinny revealed his plans for the future now that Jersey Shore is no more.
“I’m just trying to stay on TV,” he told OK!. “Acting is my main, main goal for the future. Just to be on Breaking Bad as the kid that sits in the back of the class – no crazy role, just some kind of role.”
The MTV reality star revealed that the Jersey Shore cast “all kind of had a feeling” the cancellation was going to happen, but he admits to OK!, “We always did since day one.” Of course, Vinny says, “When it was actually confirmed, we were a little sad, but at the same time we did go out on top as opposed to going out on the bottom.”

Jersey Shore premiered on MTV back in 2009 and has since scored record ratings for the network. “It’s definitely sad because I hope that I can still continue to make it to events in the future and stay relevant,” Vinny said.
Well, that certainly shouldn’t be much of a problem! After all, the entire cast appeared on Barbara Walters’ Ten Most Fascinating People list for 2010 — and the public's interest has yet to simmer down.

But with the end of a cultural phenomenon, how will the guidos and guidettes keep in touch without the cameras around? “Like we always do!,” Vinny told OK!. “Me and Pauly D are like brothers so we always keep in touch and some other people are just acquaintances… just like anybody else who works together.”

One castmate Vinny will be running into after season six of Jersey Shore – Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi! “I haven’t seen Lorenzo yet. It’s just a matter of time though,” he says.
