After two years away from Wisteria Lane, Jesse Metcalfe will be going back to his roots as Desperate Housewives' sexy gardener John Rowland.

"He'll be on for six to eight episodes, with the possibility of coming back full-time," an insider on the ABC hit tells OK!.
