Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria & Jeff Bridges to Speak at Democratic National Convention

The Democratic National Convention is only two weeks away but there's already celeb buzz surrounding the big event.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria and Jeff Bridges have been tapped for visible roles in Charlotte, N.C. Jessica and her husband, Cash Warren, will co-host a fundraising event set for the convention's closing night.
As for Eva, well the Desperate Housewives actress will be one of nine women to address delegates from the podium.
She's one of the co-chairs of President Obama's re-election campaign In a pre-election video, Eva spoke: “Ever since I was a little kid, my parents made sure I knew I could do anything if I worked hard. My sister Lisa, who faced obstacles growing up with special needs, taught me to be courageous and compassionate. This is how I try to live my life day to day and this is what I see in everything President Obama does."

Eva added, "Whether he’s fighting for affordable healthcare and access to education, or supporting small businesses in the Hispanic community, over the last three years he’s worked to reform our immigration system, to give everyone a fair shot at the American Dream.”
Jeff has an interesting role since he'll speak at both the Republication National Convention next week and at the democratic one, too. He's going to speak about childhood hunger appearing on behalf of No Kid Hungry.
