Fans of Jessica Biel will be interested to learn that the New Year's Eve actress scored a new movie. Jess will play Viper in next year's The Wolverine, opposite Hugh Jackman.

Viper is a trained assassin and professional terrorist with her own evil organization. She once blackmailed Wolverine to marry her (but he demanded a divorce) and is a skilled swordswoman and martial artist.
This new gig is clearly a big triumph for the future Mrs. Timberlake, who griped to Elle in December that she was tired of all the rejection in Hollywood.
“The Notebook. That’s one that I wanted so badly. I was in the middle of shooting Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer — covered in blood. Director Nick Cassavetes put me through the wringer in an interesting, exciting way. But there’s a million that get away. We’re gluttons for punishment. It’s just rejection.”

Jessica also said she was up for the role of Catwoman, which eventually went to Anne Hathaway, in this month's The Dark Knight Rises.
