On Monday a judge sent former American Idol fourth-season contestant Jessica Sierra for a year-long stint in rehab after the singer was arrested for disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest without violence and violating probation on Dec. 1.
According to reports, the Judge Daniel Perry was "reluctant” to send Sierra to rehab. "I don't want this to be some stepping stone for her to have a career as a recovering addict," he said. The judge ordered that she is prohibited from conducting interviews or appearing on television.

Sierra did appear on television as a part of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab show, which stars Dr. Drew Pinksy and features a group of celebrities living in a house together trying to overcome their addictions.
Sierra was previously arrested in April 2007 and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, possession of cocaine ad introduction of contraband into a detention facility. She was sentenced to 12-months probation.
