At a high-spirited group lunch at a resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Ashlee Simpson and Nicole Richie enjoyed bright and colorful fruit-flavored margaritas, while Jessica Simpson just smiled serenely as she sipped water with her meal. "She's being coy about it because it's in the early weeks, but yes, the general consensus is that she's pregnant," says an insider. For Jessica, 31, who has been engaged to former football player Eric Johnson since last winter, this unplanned pregnancy just adds an extra dose of joy to her life. "Jessica wants to be a mom so badly and has for a long time," explains the insider. "Whenever Jessica is with Ashlee's son, Bronx, she's all over him. Jess is just so playful and open-hearted. You can tell she's going to be an amazing mother."
