Jim Carrey Says Kissing Ewan Was a "Dream Come True"

For <a href="https://okmagazine.com/search/carrey" target="_blank"><strong>Jim Carrey</strong></a>, getting the chance to smooch Ewan McGregor on the set of I Love You Phillip Morris , was a plus.

"It was a dream come true," the rubber-faced actor told reporters during a press conference for the film at the Sundance Film Festival. "I mean, look at the guy!"

The film, which is getting good buzz out of the Park City, Utah, based festival, is based on the true story of a con man who meets the love of his life in prison, then concocts elaborate escapes and masquerades to free himself and his man.

All joking aside, Ewan said too much is made whenever a straight star takes on a homosexual role. "It's the same as playing any other kind of man, any other kind of character," he explained.
