On Oscars night as stars were mingling at Graydon Carter's viewing party, one star began feeling faint. Joan Collins was rushed to the hospital after almost passing out and the reason for feeling faint may surprise you. She blames it on her very tight dress!

According to PopEater , the Dynasty actress was apparently wearing a purple body-hugging dress by designer Georges Hobeika. At the party, she started to feel faint and rested on a sofa at the Sunset Tower Hotel's bar. After her husband called for an ambulance, Joan was assisted to the back of the hotel.

Chalking up feeling faint to the tight dress, she told The Daily Mail (via PopEater), "The truth was, I made the wrong decision to wear a very tight dress, and had something rather like a Victorian swoon." Joan added, "We had been there for seven hours, and I started feeling dizzy. I tried to get some air, but I felt really faint. I wanted to leave in our limo, but Percy decided to call an ambulance. We went to the hospital, and they did all the tests before the doctors told me I was absolutely fine and released me."
