Joan Rivers Protests Costco; Gets Escorted Outside By Cops!

How's this for taking things into your own hands? Considering Costco refuses to sell Joan Rivers' new book, I Hate Everyone...Starting with Me, the comedian went to their Burbank, Calif., store with copies of them. And, of course, a megaphone.

According to GossipCop, the Fashion Police co-host signed her books for customers — until, that is, the store called the cops.

She explained to an ABC affiliate, “Costco, who sells condoms by the pallet, who sells Paula Deen books and – which is not good for their customers’ health – they decided to ban my book. This is a First Amendment violation.”

Apparently there is "controversial" content in her book which is why the chain store has decided against selling it. She added, “This is a store that sells 300 rolls of toilet paper at the same time, and I say any customer that buys 300 rolls of toilet paper deserves a funny book to sit on the toilet and read.”
