Former Privileged star JoAnna Garcia, who's acting on the upcoming ABC sitcom Better with You, told reporters a little about her engagement to New York Yankees slugger Nick Swisher on Saturday.
"I've hired a very good wedding planner," Joanna, 30, said while promoting Better with You in Beverly Hills today. "It's easy to balance balls in the air when you're happy. We're going for it! I want to show up and have fun.
"I think we come from very similar backgrounds," flame-haired beauty Joanna said of her baseball player fiancé.
The one thing that surprises her about baseball athletes? "They work really hard."
Joanna, who is playing a gal who gets engaged on her new show, added, "for me, I never put a lot of weight on marriage. I just wanted to be in a healthy relationship."
She got engaged to Nick ten months after they met and said, "when you know, you know."
