The singer, who will appear on ABC's Duets this summer along with Kelly Clarkson and Robin Thicke, had some choice words about Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, the just-announced judges for rival competition show The X Factor.

“It should be very interesting. I don’t have much to say. It’s interesting when people that, you know, are judging singing competitions when they aren’t really singers,” he said when E! News asked him what he thought of the girls' news, GossipCop reports.

Kelly and Robin were much nicer (or political, depending on your take!).
“I’m excited for both of them, I’m a big fan of both of them… I think those two are two girls you really want to root for… I think it’ll be good for the show," Kelly said.
Robin shared: "Everything Britney does she excels at, Demi is a lovely young lady, and I’m sure they’ll do nothing but make the show a lot more fun to watch.”
