When one star joins Twitter another one leaves. John Mayer is the latest celebrity to stop Tweeting.

John gave a final Tweet saying, "What does this button do?" yesterday, which ultimately showed his 3.1 million fans that their Twitter friendship was over.
The musician had previously told E! News that Twitter was both "silly" and "dumb" so maybe this was just a breakup that was a long time coming!

John has been a Twitter-quitter, so it is possible he may start Tweeting again, but his rep say's he done for good.
"With the Battle Studies Tour now at a close and a return to the studio planned, John has discontinued his Twitter account,"John's rep told E! News. "However, he continues to communicate with his fans via his blog as he always has."
