John Mayer might want to take a look back and remember what happened the last time he over-shared with the public – he and Jennifer Aniston broke up, reportedly partly because of his friendliness with the press.
And even though Jen said in a recent interview her boyfriend hadn't been blogging lately, the singer is back to communicating with his fans and making jokes about his personal life.
“Visiting the Diamond Exchange in Tustin,” he wrote on his Twitter page Friday, following it up Saturday with, “Welding an engagement ring for my girlfriend.”

While he may have meant "wielding," there's no doubt that John enjoys toying with the press over his relationship with Jen, especially as the Marley and Me star approaches the big 4-0.
