We're going to let John Mayer in on a little secret... girls really, really like you, John! You don't have to show off your big muscles or play with an adorable puppy to impress anyone, but, we have to admit, it doesn't hurt! John was spotted in NYC yesterday making friends with a neighbor's dog on his way to the gym in SoHo. Recently, John has gone above and beyond, proving he's not just a great musician, but also a great guy!

Last week, he surprised his fans at Jones Beach by personally handing out free ice cream before his show. Sunday, when he had to cancel a show in Hershey Park, the singer didn't just refund tickets, he promised a re-scheduled performance in August!
Most recently, John also proved that he is a great friend when he defended his friend and comedy writer Jordan Rubin against The Office star Rainn Wilson. John brought attention to Rainn plagiarizing Jordan's original work on his Tumblr.
