Last time he was interrogated about a budding superstar romance, John Mayer confirmed it in Japanese (about Jessica Simpson). Luckily for most people, the Grammy winner responded in English this time around when questioned about the state of his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.
So what is it?
Taking a diplomatic approach, John proudly exclaimed to Entertainment Tonight that he’s “happy” and “living my life.”

"Listen, I'm not in a scandal, I'm not doing anything wrong, I'm just living my life doing my thing and if people choose to talk it's their decision,” John says at the 2008 Costume Institute Benefit at the Met Museum of Art.
The 30-year-old and the ex-Mrs. Brad Pitt caused a stir last week when they were spotted . But it's not like John minds the gossip.
"You reporters have a job to do and I have a job to do," he says. "But if what you're asking is 'Are you happy?' I'm happy!"
