John Stamos and Kristin Davis to Star in Tony-Nominated Broadway Play

If seeing a Broadway show is part of your summer plans, may we suggest Gore Vidal's The Best Man? The show is getting some new faces on July 10, and we're pretty excited about them! John Stamos, Kristin Davis and Cybill Shepherd are taking over for Eric McCormack, Kerry Butler and Candice Bergen, respectively. This isn't a slight to Eric, Kerry and Candice, but, well... we really like John Stamos (Uncle Jesse or Blackie Parrish if you prefer), ok? Kristin and Cybill? Awesome bonuses!

The play is about two1960s presidential candidates who don't shy away from mudslinging at their party's national convention. While it didn't take home any Tonys this year, it has garnered quite a bit of interest from show-goers — its limited engagement has been extended twice already! It is currently set to close on September 9.
