Halle Berry might not be used to hearing the word "no" but that's exactly what she heard in court Friday, when a Los Angeles judge ruled that she could not move her 4-year-old daughter Nahla to France.

Halle petitioned the court for the right to do so last February, arguing that her daughter would be safer in France away from the hungry eyes of the paparazzi. Halle's ex and Nahla's father, Gabriel Aubry, objected, saying it would make it impossible for him to have a meaningful role in his daughter's life.
