Julia Roberts is a pretty woman "walking down the street" with Lancôme. The Hollywood A-lister with has been chosen for the role as the “global ambassadress” for Lancôme, Women’s Wear Daily reports. “By her remarkable personality and career, Julia Roberts is an emblematic woman of her time,” Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôme International, tells WWD.
“Her exceptional talent, her radiance and her strong commitments perfectly echo Lancôme’s values. We are convinced she will embody the brand in the most sublime way possible,” Nabi continues.

Little is known yet about the relationship between Julia and the brand, but more info will be released next year.
She is following in the footsteps off other leading ladies who have been entering the cosmetic and beauty realm. Demi Moore was signed to a similar deal with Lancôme sister brand Helena Rubinstein, as the face of its Wanted fragrance, earlier this year.
Julia is currently traveling around the world filming Eat, Pray, Love based on the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert. She, along with co-stars Javier Bardem and James Franco, have been shooting in Italy, New Dehli, NYC and L.A.
