Longtime on and off again couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have called it quits again.
According to Radaronline.com the two spent New Year's apart and have realized they've been trying to make something work that isn't meant to be right now.

"Justin and Selena were together for a long time. They love each other and will always care about each other, but it just isn't working between them," a source said.
The pair broke up in November, then briefly got back together a few weeks later and went on vacation in Utah over the Christmas holiday, but have since ended their relationship.
"This might really be it for the two of them. They're over going back and forth and all the fighting and reconciling. They're finally realizing that no matter how much they try to make it work, it won't right now," the source added.
The two were supposed to ring in the new year in Mexico, but Selena left and flew home because they were fighting.
"Their time in Mexico was much of the same for them; constant arguments and bickering. So they ended it," a pal said.
"Selena is Justin's first love and he's still young enough that he desperately tries to make it work. But Selena is mature enough to just know when to end it and be realistic that it isn't working. And Selena didn't wallow in their breakup. She went out New Year's Eve and had fun with her friends and did her thing."

And from the sounds of things, not even their friends think they should be together.
"They're both better off to just move on and go their separate ways. They're just having trouble saying goodbye," the pal continued.
