Justin Bieber has reportedly impressed some members of the Academy and his Never Say Never film is rumored to be a possible contender at next year's Oscars!

Not only did Justin's Never Say Never documentary gross $63 million, but it also made a good impression to some pretty important people!

“You’d be surprised at the caliber of people who came up to Justin at the Vanity Fair party at the Sunset Tower, most of whom had seen the movie Never Say Never and loved it,” an insider tells The Hollywood Reporter. “There was even talk of putting it up for an Oscar next year in the documentary category. People appreciate that it’s not just a kids’ movie.”

And the Biebs reportedly mingled and made with big stars and who is was talking to was the talk of the night!

But whether or not Justin's Paramount Studios film directed by Jon Chu will be an Oscar nominee is still far away. Deadline for submissions is in December.
