While Drew Barrymore and Justin Long insist they're friends, they definitely like spending time together, wrapping up a day of filming Going the Distance in NYC on Monday by strolling around the city's Lower East Side neighborhood.
"They were smoking and smiling and laughing," an onlooker tells OK! of the twosome, who had just stopped at a deli around 11 p.m. "They walked down the street and a group recognized them and said something, and Justin replied to them nicely and was very cool with the attention."

Even being spotted by fans didn't phase the twosome or make them change their behavior, as they strolled down the street, holding hands.
"They seemed happy and unbothered by the people recognizing them," the eyewitness tells OK!.
