Though it was being kept relatively hush-hush that Justin Timberlake and Reba McEntire were going to perform "The Only Promise That Remains," the duet he wrote for her new Duets album, at the Country Music Awards, OK! can reveal that JT fans shouldn’t get their hopes up.

Though insiders tell OK! that the VMA-winning singer had to cancel his Nov. 7 CMA performance after he signed on to shoot a movie in Australia, JT’s publicist denies that rumor. Regardless, Justin’s tour schedule will keep him Down Under for most of the month of November.

But don’t feel sad for Reba, whose new album hits stores Tuesday. She’s got plenty of other A-list talent to duet with.

If you still want to see Justin and Reba belt out their new tune, watch Oprah on Sept. 19.

The Country Music Awards, featuring Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and many other legends of country, will be handed out Nov. 7 in Nashville. Go HERE for more info.
