Kanye West Goes on Twitter Tirade

Gotta love free speech and the 140-character message limit on Twitter! Kanye West kicked off a Twitter rant last night — and we do mean rant!

OK! NEWS: KANYE WEST DRUMS UP DJ WORK The rapper Tweeted over 70 messages within three hours on the micro-blogging site, as pointed out by The Hollywood Reporter. He covered everything from letting kids use iPhones in schools to awards shows to the late Steve Jobs!  Interestingly enough, Kanye's string of Tweets read like a stream of consciousness, and he mentioned his new design company, DONDA. Sounds like he's looking to bring together "a team of architects, graphic designers, directors, musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social media experts... app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionist ... doctors, scientist,teachers." In fact, he used his own money to back his fashion line based on earnings from his tour! OK! NEWS: AND THE GRAMMY NOMINEES ARE... One of the Tweets read, "This is just a train of thought .. but figure it's better to read than trained thoughts." In yet another message, he wrote, "I was just discussing becoming the creative director for the Jetson movie and someone on the call yelled out.. you should do a Jetsons tour!" Ranging from his business ventures to the lovable Jetsons, he also referred to the celeb world. "Being a celebrity has afforded me many opportunities but has also boxed me in creatively." Yet another Tweet read, "I know this is not a very rapper thing to say but I haven't bought a new car or piece of jewelry in about 2 years..." And then he added, "I appreciate having the most nominations at the Grammies but I also feel so conflicted by the fact that award shows sometimes are completely...illogical." OK! To that point, he Tweeted, "But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas." Hmmm. What do you make of his Tweets?
