Kanye West is upset by the way he is perceived by the public. At the Big Chill festival in England this weekend, the controversial singer ranted about how he is misunderstood by the media and compared himself to Adolf Hitler.
"I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm f***ing insane, like I'm Hitler," Kanye said, via Radar Online, to the more than 40,000 fans who were at the concert. "One day the light will shine through and one day people will understand everything I ever did."

The crowd did not respond well to Kanye's comparison, and he even received some boos.
Kanye then took the time to address his "Monster" music video, which was banned for graphic content, especially images of young women hanging from their necks.
"Who saw the video before it got banned, before they took it down and before women's groups starting saying that a person that lost the most important woman in his life is now against women in some way?" Kanye questioned the audience.
Kanye was very close to his mother Donde West, who passed in 2007 after complications from a cosmetic surgery procedure.
He then began to preach about the need for somebody to make a difference in the music world.
"Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball, he took his power to make a difference. It's so much f***ing going on in music right now and somebody has to make a f***ing difference," he said.

Kanye closed the show by paying tribute to the late Amy Winehouse — with her songs "Tears Dry On Their Own" and "Back to Black" — who he explained he met during Paris Fashion week.
“I was at Paris fashion week a few years ago with my fiancée at that time,” he said. “We went to a house party and I met this beautiful, amazing, talented and funny woman. This is in memory of her.”
He added after the tribute: "Thank you for protecting your artists that are still here. This is for Alexander McQueen, for Amy, for Michael and for all the media, can you lighten up on all your artists that are still here?"
