Dancing with the Star’s Karina Smirnoff flew to Las Vegas to celebrate Tao’s 5th anniversary this weekend, but also rung in another happy occasion! The 32-year-old flaunted her new engagement ring from baseball pro Brad Penny.
“I said thank you before I said yes,” the dancer gushed of accepting the St. Louis Cardinal pitcher’s marriage proposal while out at Tao, “He planned it very well and this is actually the first time I’m even talking about it.”
The blushing bride-to-be did admit that, “I’m going to keep Smirnoff as my last name,” but was overjoyed to be finally showing off her bling.

As if a diamond ring wasn’t enough to show Brad’s love, the athlete felt bad for not being able to accompany his fiancée to Las Vegas and sent her over a special gift, according to eyewitnesses.
Karina opened up Tao’s signature fortune cookie dessert to find an Everlon Knot Collection diamond necklace inside from Brad.
