Karina Smirnoff Out of 'Dancing With the Stars'

Karina Smirnoff is the latest Dancing With the Stars casualty, after being cut from the show's tenth season, according to reports.
But although Karina won't be taking part in the competition a show insider says she'll continue helping with choreography," reports E! Online. "It's just going to be behind the scenes."

Another source adds, "She's always been choreographing for the show. She's a big part of the result shows. She's like family there."
Karina's upcoming no-show is the latest in a series of changes to the ABC contest. The new season will only have 11 celebrities instead of 16 and professional dancers Lacey Schwimmer and Jonathan Roberts have revealed they won't be returning.

"It wasn't easy," says one of the sources. "Producers cut people based on the celebrities and who they'd be a good match with."

A rep for DWTS declined to comment. The new celebrity lineup will be announced on Monday during the Bachelor finale with their partners revealed the following morning.
