Katrina Darling — who doesn't bear the Middleton surname — is a second cousin, once removed of the famous British clan and spends her time as a burlesque dancer in Newcastle.
During the media's fixation with the royal wedding, reporters unearthed the distant bloodline between Katrina and Kate and thus catapulted the sexy Brit into a stardom.
It wasn't long before Hugh Hefner learned of the dancer and (viola!) offered her the September cover. The issue boasts eight pages of Katrina and she was rumored a six-figure sum for her efforts. She's now quit her day job and is attempting to make a name for herself as a performer.

"It was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard," she told the magazine of finding out her royal connection. "It's not every day something like that happens."
