When news broke that everyone's new favorite royal Kate Middleton was expecting her first child and that she was experiencing severe morning sickness, people speculated that she could be pregnant with twins, but the Palace has confirmed that is not the case.

The following statement was released 11 a.m. U.K. time:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July."
In December, the couple who have been married almost two years, made the surprise announcement last month about Kate's pregnancy.
