Jamie Hince, The Kills guitarist, put a ring on it. That is, in old-school form, he popped the question to supermodel Kate Moss on Tuesday night. Kate reportedly joked that she will be the most famous Kate to tie the knot in 2011...instead of Kate Middleton!

According to The Sun, Jamie proposed to Kate in bed with an expensive 1920s vintage engagement ring. He even asked her parents permission for their daughter's hand in marriage before he proposed!

The couple will marry on July 2 and Kate's eight-year-old daughter, Lisa, will be the main bridesmaid. Her father is Jefferson Hack, co-founder of Dazed & Confused magazine. Kate has had several high profile romances including former engagements to Johnny Depp and Peter Doherty.
A source told The Sun, "Kate is delighted. Jamie is the man for her -- they are soul mates. She just wanted to make him work for her hand in marriage. He has been badgering her to get married but she wanted to take her time."
