Kate & A-Rod Only Have Eyes for Each Other

In the midst of a huge victory for the Yankees after winning the pennant late Sunday night, Alex Rodriguez only had eyes for his love, Kate Hudson. Instead of celebrating with only teammates, Alex included Kate in the festivities at his fave restaurant in NYC, Serafina. "They were with other players, but they had a table on their own," an insider tells OK!. "People were coming to congratulate him but he was still attentive to her."

And in those moments when A-Rod did focus on his teammates and their big win, Kate's so happy with her man, she willingly took a backseat to the Yankees' celebrating.

"She didn't mind not being the center of his attention," the insider dishes, adding that Kate was "very nice" and "very sweet."

But A-Rod doesn't bring just anybody to his fave restaurant, where he's been going around once or twice a week over the last year with his family, friends and Kate -- a source tells OK!, "He never came with Madonna, but he used to come with his wife."

The Yankee slugger is such a fan, the twosome went back less than 12 hours later, showing up on Monday for lunch with his two nieces, his nephew, and teammate Hideki Matsui, after shopping on Madison Avenue.

An eyewitness tells OK! Kate and A-Rod's little nephew spent time talking at lunch, while Alex amused his nieces and made them laugh.

Sounds like they're already quite a happy family!
