Her ex-husband, SkyFall director Sam Mendes, has officially transferred his share of a huge penthouse apartment in NYC to her.

The couple dished out $4.9 million for the pad in 2004. The New York Post reports that back in the day, his rep explained they intended to use the space whenever they stayed in NYC but their primary home was going to be in England.
Well, in 2010 the couple split and haven't really talked much in public about the breakup.

Last year Kate told Harper's Bazaar, “I’m not going to bleep-fling, there’s no point in even going there. It is what it is.” This penthouse news may mean they're officially splitting their assets and moving on with their lives.

Sam is apparently dating Rebecca Hall, star of The Town, whereas the Titanic star has been spotted with Ned Rocknroll, the nephew of Richard Branson.
