Kate Winslet & John Mayer Secretly Dating?

Kate Winslet following in Jennifer Aniston's footsteps and dating John Mayer? A recent report claims that the Oscar-winning actress and crooner have been secretly hooking, trying hard to keep their fledgling relationship under wraps. So can it be?

"Kate Winslet is trying her best to keep her steamy new hookup under wraps,” the report claims adding that she “has been secretly spending time with notorious ladies’ man John Mayer.”

So how did their romance allegedly bloom?

“A few weeks ago, John was at a party in Manhattan when he ran into Kate. He really put the moves on her, and Kate eventually responded,” an insider told the publication adding that Kate was “begging him not to blab.”

But apparently their fling is non-existent.

A source close to Kate told Gossip Cop that report is “false,” and that Kate and John “have never met.”

Last we checked, Kate was dating British model Louis Dowler since last year.

She split with director husband Sam Mendes last year.

As for John Mayer's love life, he is no stranger to dating A-list women from Jessica Simpson to Jen Aniston.
