Katherine Heigl

After doing a few films including Bride of Chucky and My Father the Hero, Katherine Heigl made the move to TV in the WB alien drama Roswell which became a cult hit. After returning to film for a few years, Katherine once again turned to TV playing Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy in 2005. That same spring, Katherine met future husband Josh Kelley while shooting his music video. Two years later, Katherine won an Emmy for her work on Grey's, though she would take herself out of the running for the award the following year, stirring up controversy. Katherine has also been the lead in several hit films including Knocked Up, 27 Dresses and The Ugly Truth. Katherine and Josh adopted a baby girl from Korea named Naleigh, short for Nancy Leigh after Katherine's mother Nancy and her sister Margaret Leigh.
