Although Katie Holmes couldn't be with her hubby Tom Cruise at last night's Golden Globes (he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Tropic Thunder), she made sure she at least caught the after-party!

As soon as the final curtain call for her Broadway show All My Sons was over, Katie grabbed a flight to L.A. to be by her man's side for the swanky CAA party at the Sunset Tower Hotel, E! News reports.

Katie arrived at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre before the play with her car already loaded up with bags and the things that her daughter Suri needs for traveling.

Then, as soon as the house lights went up, Katie quickly said her goodbyes to her castmates and just 30 minutes or so after her final scene, she left the stage door for the last time.

Katie and Suri were whisked away to a helicopter waiting by New York's West Side Highway to take her to a private jet at Teterboro airport in New Jersey, arriving shortly after 6pm.

Katie didn't miss out on celebrations after the last night. Instead the cast and had a dinner together at a restaurant the night before their final performance.

So while many of the other people in her play went home, Katie joined other celebs at the star-studded L.A. bash included Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Colin Farrell, Tom Hanks, Leo DiCaprio, and Eva Longoria Parker, just to name a few.

Now that Kate's turn on Broadway is over, E! reports that she and daughter Suri will be by Tom's side for his international promotional tour for Valkyrie.

Just another happy, jet-setting, super famous family!
