Katie Holmes kicked off her career as the charming tomboy on the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek in 1998. She may have stolen our hearts playing the sweet girl-next-door, but no one expected that Katie would wind up in the spotlight for years to come. All eyes were on Katie when she began dating Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise in 2005. Tomkat, as they're known, gained tons of publicity, especially when announcing that Katie was pregnant.
