Katie Holmes Finds Love Again

Tom Cruise's ex Katie Holmes is rebounding from her painful Jamie Foxx break-up by hooking up with Designated Survivor star Kiefer Sutherland!

"There's a real spark between them," a source says. "They are taking things slowly, but they clearly think the world of each other.

"Kiefer has been the perfect gentleman to Katie. He's putting the smile back on her face after her harsh breakup with Jamie."

Katie, 37, mom of Tom's daughter Suri, 10, was first attracted to Kiefer, 49, while working on the 2002 film Phone Booth. But at the time she was dating actor Chris Klein, while Kiefer, who plays a U.S. president on the hit new ABC drama, had plunged into a romance with Canadian actress Catherine Bisson.

But the stars reconnected last summer at a mutual pal's party in New York, says an insider.

"It was the first time they'd seen each other for a couple of years," says the source. "There has always been a special bond between them, and when their paths crossed, it felt very comfortable.

"Now it looks like they are taking things to the next level."
