Some stars might get jealous that a cover of their song has been so successful, but not Katy Perry! The "Teenage Dream" singer couldn't be happier for Glee star Darren Criss' success with her song.

“He’s amazing!” Katy told Access Hollywood of Darren while she was in NYC. “I love when any of my songs are remixed or interpreted differently. I just I love that, I really welcome a creative mind to anything.”

And Darren also spoke with Access over the weekend and thanks her for the song.
“It’s already a killer single on the radio, Katy Perry’s version,” Darren said. “So many things stacked up where the final puzzle was this very small percentage of throwing my lucky butt in there. So, I consider myself very fortunate because I think it could have been almost anybody that made that song as awesome.”
And he'd love to meet Katy in person!
“I like Katy a lot… never met her, but I would like to,” the new Glee regular said. “Katy, if you want to hang out sometime, I’ll buy you a beer. Thanks for singing a great song.”
