Katy Perry Says Children With Russell Brand Are In "the Very Far Future"

A pink-haired Katy Perry covers InStyle magazine's October 2011 issue, and opens up not only on her style but on making babies with hubby Russell Brand!

So what's the 26-year-old musician's plan for having children?

“Not yet," Katy tells InStyle. "I think if you’re married, it’s often in your future.” As for her approach to raising kids: “I think in the future — the very far future — when I have children, I’ll have a more open approach, setting boundaries and showing them what their decisions and choices will breed.”

Katy also shares about her fiery side and how it's helped her become independent in her public and private life.

“I’m not going to sit and be steamrolled; I’m going to stand up against things that are unjust," she explains. "I am full of unicorns and Care Bears 99 percent of the time, but don’t open Pandora’s Box of that other 1 percent — because it’s there!”
