Katy Perry Sings Karaoke to Will Smith's Hit "Welcome to Miami"

When she's not busy promoting her new film, Part of Me, or touring, it looks like Katy Perry doesn't mind getting in a little karaoke!

According to Nine MSN, the "California Gurl" singer got the microphone at a karaoke bar on Catalina Island, Calif., but the song wasn't one of her own — she chose to perform Will Smith's 1998 hit "Welcome to Miami."

Actually, Katy chose the role of back-up singer while her pal did most of the lead singing. It sounds like rapping may not be her forte — if the karaoke situation is any indication.
As pointed out by MSN, in March she tried to perform the Jay-Z/Kanye West hit "N----s in Paris" at a BBC Radio 1 concert — and that didn't go over too well.
