Keith Urban Needs Throat Surgery

First Adele, now Keith Urban. Reports are surfacing that the country crooner will have throat surgery later this month and force him to postpone several scheduled performances.

 According to Reuters, the 44 year-old will have an out-patient procedure to remove a polyp on his vocal chords. During the recovery, Nicole Kidman's beau will have to be on complete vocal rest in order to heal. Already having postponed his concert to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame scheduled for January 18, Keith's going to reschedule other performances in the new year. The only performances that remain intact will be one-song performance commitments until he goes under the knife. Keith's been nominated for the entertainer and male vocalist awards at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The CMA's will air on ABC next Wednesday.
