Keith Urban Open to Recording Duet with Nicole

Country singer Keith Urban has won his fair share of awards over his career, but Sunday night's Favorite Country Male trophy at the American Music Awards might have been the best of them all, he says, because of his beautiful wife Nicole Kidman.
"I’ve never won anything with Nic sitting in the audience before," he explained backstage. "I won Entertainer of the Year in 2005 and she wasn’t able to be there. So I had to call her, and it was beautiful to have her in front. She’s a huge inspiration for everything I do."
So what about a husband-wife vocal collaboration with Nicole, who has displayed her singing skills on film in Moulin Rouge? "I don’t think it’s ever out of the question," he confessed. "I don’t know. We sort of do our own things professionally. But I love singing with her at home. It’s quite nice."
And if he waits a little longer, there might be another family member ready to make it a trio — baby daughter Sunday Rose.

"She’s got some pipes!" the proud pop said of his 1-year-old girl. "They’re loud, you know! I think so. I think she sounds quite musical. Sit her at the piano and play and we mash the keys together."
As the holidays draw down upon us quickly, Keith reflected on the importance of music at this time of year. "The only thing that would keep everybody glued I think sometimes is music," he explained.
Speaking of the holidays, Keith said he and Nicole are looking forward to being able to take Sunday Down Under for her first Australian Christmas. And as for New Year's resolutions?
Revealed Keith: "Just to keep choosing love truly."
