OKMagazine.com: What can fans expect for Season 2 of I Love Kellie Pickler?

Kellie Pickler: So we are in the middle of Season 2 right now, and of course we have our fun and silly friends! We introduce several of our other friends also, so there will be new friends that people are introduced to. There’s also more family since my husband’s parents just moved from Minnesota to Nashville, so they picked up their whole life and moved to the south! We definitely have fun with them during the season and they’re such wonderful, wonderful people. Then my sister (a lot of people don’t even know I have a sister), but my sister and my brother-in-law and their sweet precious little girl are going to be in some episodes. We’re just going to have a blast this year—we’ve got an adrenaline packed season and we’re just getting started, so I can’t wait to see what else ends up happening this summer!

OKMagazine.com: You’ve been married to your husband, Kylie Jacobs since 2011. How do you make it work when you’re on the road?

Pickler: I think communication is key and respect. We make our marriage the number one priority in our lives — that’s what we chose to do. When shooting the show, we get to see each other a whole lot more, but when I’m on tour or if Kyle is on the road we have to communicate.

OKMagazine.com: How did it feel to return to the ‘Idol’ stage after being a huge part of Season 5?

Pickler: It was so wonderful! It was an ‘Idol’ family reunion and I was blown away with how many contestants they brought back from 15 seasons so backstage was a circus. It was mayhem but it was great. It was the good kind of chaos.

OKMagazine.com: Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

Pickler: I would love to go in the studio with Dolly Parton. Or even just write a song with her.

OKMagazine.com: How do stay active when you’re touring?

Pickler: I love kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. Any time we’re touring in cities where there are different kind of activities and we can get out and sight see and be a tourist, we try to do that. I think as far as food goes, you have to prepare if you’re going to take long trips. I need to pack food and I need to be prepared so I don’t have to eat a bag of chips for dinner!

OKMagazine.com: What is the best part of married life?

Pickler: I think just knowing that I have this sanctuary—this rock. I feel like I have someone to travel the world with. I get to see the world with my best friend and that’s always been both of our dreams  —to travel and see as much of the world as we can. We’ve both been very blessed and it’s great that we have each other to share a life with.

And speaking of travelling, that’s a lot easier these days for Pickler thanks to Flonase Allergy Relief! The country star, who grew up in North Carolina before moving to Nashville, struggled to get her allergies under control but noted that with the help of Flonase, she’s “able to be greater than my allergies and put my energy into things I love doing—performing country music all over the world and enjoying the great outdoors.”

Now, she has linked up with the Eh Bee family, who are on the road trip to the highest allergy-ridden cities in the country. They’re meeting up with Pickler at the iHeart Country Music Festival in Austin, Texas, and you can follow the conversation about the Eh Bees’ adventures on the road and check-ins with Kellie, by using the hashtag #BEGREATER and people can enter the #BEGREATER sweeps at BeGreater.Flonase.com for a chance to win their own ultimate adventure.
