Say bye, bye to Miss Independent! American Idol's first-ever winner Kelly Clarkson has revealed she's dating a wonderful man, who just so happens to be pal Reba McEntire's stepson. Oh, and he's The Voice star Blake Shelton's manager!
The singer confirmed the news on Toronto radio station 98.1 CHFI, giggling while announcing, "I have a new boyfriend."
That boyfriend is Brandon Blackstock, a 35-year-old Nashville-based talent manager, who also happens to be the single dad of two kids from his previous marriage. Aww, he's a family man!
But that's not all Kelly loves about him — she appreciates the fact that he knows and understands her career and priorities since he's in the music business.

“He understands my work and how much I work, and I understand his stuff because he’s in the business. It’s easier,” an obviously happy Kelly explained.
She has been single since 2006, when she ended things with fellow musician Graham Colton. We're so happy for Kelly and wish her only the best. Hopefully Brandon's not a "Mr. Know It All."
