After his mother gave him a guitar during freshmen year of college, Kenny Chesney had found his calling. While in school, Kenny began performing near campus and self-recorded his first album. The budding musician then moved to Nashville where he eventually signed with Sony BMG and began releasing hit records. Kenny has since become a touring sensation in the States, selling out most venues he plays. He has also been named Entertainer of the year by The Country Music Association four years in a row and received a variety of awards from the Academy of Country Music, American Music Awards, the People's Choice Awards and more. But it was Kenny's whirlwind romance with actress Renée Zellweger that put the singer in serious media spotlight. After only a few months together, Kenny and Renée get married before splitting only four months later. Renée cited "fraud" as the reason for annulment, prompting mass speculation as to how Kenny deceived the actress. Kenny bounced back from the devestating break up, to continue his reign as country music's king.
