The daughter of O.J. Simpson's lawyer Robert Kardashian, step-daughter of Olympian Bruce Jenner and childhood pal of Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian was destined for the spotlight. But before Kim took her rightful place on reality TV, she was a personal shopper and stylist for stars like Lindsay Lohan and Brandy, whose brother, Ray J, Kim soon began dating. In 2007, a sex tape featuring the couple was released and gave Kim her first real taste of fame, which she then turned into her own E! reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Around that time, Kim began her on-and-off romance with footballer Reggie Bush. When things didn't work out with Reggie, Kim played the field for a while before becoming engaged to basketball player Kris Humphries after just six months of dating. The couple's elaborate 2011 wedding was televised on E! in a two-part special and was compared to the Royal Wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William earlier that year. Kim and Kris would later file for divorce after just 72 days of marriage. In addition to her reality show and its spin-offs, Kim keeps busy with other business ventures including her own fragrance, a clothing line she launched with her sisters, Kim and Kourtney, as well as endorsing products like QuikTrim and modelling.
