New York Fashion Week was a big time for the Kardashian Krew. Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner both had Fashion Week firsts in the Sherri Hill and Abbey Dawn shows with Kourtney and Kim Kardashian cheering them on from the front row. Kim's sister-in-law Kaela Humphries also made her runway debut that week walking for Richie Rich, but Kim was noticeably absent. Richie opened up to reporters at an HTC product launch event Tuesday about the show and didn't seem too troubled by Kim's truancy.

Kaela's brother and Kim's husband, Kris Humphries, sat front row at the show along with their parents to show support for the budding model. Kris did the same for sister-in-law Kylie at her first runway show earlier that week, but it seems Kim was unable to return the favor.

"Kim was supposed to come but she didn't make it to the show," Richie explained.

Though, the reality star's absence didn't seem to dampen the mood of the designer or change his feelings towards Kim one bit.

"But she's been in my shows before. She's great. It was just mom and dad there, but it was fun."

And he seemed to have nothing but great things to say about Kaela, as well.

"She's really fun. She's up for anything," praised Richie.

"She was like, 'Put me in anything you want.' And she had a good time in a neon, metallic strapless number."

Hopefully Kim had a good reason for missing out on such a big moment for her new family, but it looks like she'll have more opportunities to support Kaela.

When asked if he would have Kaela walk in his show again, Richie responded, "Oh, most def."
